Η Samsung Electronics Hellas, committed to its commitment to responsible entrepreneurship that promotes the adoption of sustainable practices, actively supports the action "THE GREEN CITY"Implemented by the Attica Region in collaboration with Special Interdisciplinary Association of the Prefecture of Attica (EDSNA).
Through the program THE GREEN CITY, the citizens 66 Municipalities of the Attica Region have the ability to recycle segregated materials such as paper, glass, electronics, textiles, metals, edible oils and plastics, with immediate benefit. In total, sixty (60) mobile recycling centers, also called Mobile Green Dots, with the possibility of collecting 1,2 tons each, make itineraries with predetermined stops in squares, outdoor parking, etc.
Citizens can register in the program online but also through a corresponding mobile application, and collect points based on the materials they recycle, through their mobile phone, e-mail or with the card "THE GREEN CITY». Then, they will be able to redeem their points, taking advantage of offers and discounts from the partner companies.
In this context, in order to strengthen the program and to provide solutions at the operational level and to facilitate the registration of citizens in the Mobile Green Points, the Samsung Electronics Hellas supports the action as a technology sponsor, having Samsung Galaxy tablets latest generation.
At the same time, the leading technology company participates in the reward and redemption program, offering participants financial benefits for the purchase of wearable devices from both Samsung e-shop as well as from partner stores.
