Today we have the opportunity to see its first official render Samsung Galaxy ZFold 2 published by valid leakster Ice Universe.
ΈWe have read a lot about the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2, the second generation folding smartphone of the company, which will probably be presented together with the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 and Samsung Galaxy ZFlip 5G.
This time, however, we have the opportunity to see the first official render of the device published by valid leakster Ice Universe. The resolution of the image is not very high, however, we can draw some conclusions. First, we see the Mystic Bronze color that will be worn a lot in the new series of Samsung, but also the much larger camera module that looks similar to the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 series, however, has two camera sensors and LED flash.
The Samsung Galaxy ZFold 2 is expected to be presented at Unpacked Event which will take place on August 5, where we will also see the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, Galaxy Buds Live and Galaxy Watch 3.
Also, the external screen is significantly larger compared to that of the first Galaxy Fold (something that is also noted in the leaks of recent weeks). Finally, we see the positions of the speakers (one up and one down), as well as the USB Type-C socket.
The Samsung Galaxy ZFold 2 is expected with a flexible 7.7 '' Super AMOLED internal display with 120Hz refresh rate, which is coated with Ultra Thin Glass, but will be thinner and more economical than the one used in the first generation, because Samsung managed to integrate the touch circuit in the OLED panel (Y-OCTA technology). Also, despite the initial gossip, it is quite possible that it will not support the S Pen. As for the external screen, one of the disadvantages of the first Galaxy Fold, Samsung will enlarge it a lot since we will see a 6.23 '' panel (instead of 4.3 '').
For the rest of the specs, ETNews captures a 12MP main sensor for the rear camera + 12MP ultrawide + 64MP telephoto with 3x hybrid zoom, 10MP indoor selfie camera and 10MP selfie camera on the external display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ octa-core processor, 12GB RAM, 256GB storage and dual battery with a total capacity of 4365mAh with 25W charger (15W wireless charging and reverse wireless charger). The operating system will be Android 10 with One UI 2.5.
