Realme 5 & 5 Pro: They were officially made with a price of 125 € and quad cameras

Η Realme is a relatively new smartphone maker that has achieved a lot in a short time.


ΠWe recently learned that four smartphones with quad cameras will be released by October and today the company presented two of them. These are the new economical flagship smartphones, Realme 5 and Realme 5 Pro.

With the Realme 5 Pro the company made the real difference. For the first time we see a Pro version with a smaller screen than the basic, but with more powerful hardware. The device has a 6,3-inch IPS LCD screen with a resolution of 1.080 × 2.340 pixels, 90,8% screen-to-body ratio, Gorilla Glass 3 protection, and a waterdrop notch and a 16MP selfie camera.

Inside the Realme 5 Pro you will find the Snapdragon 712 with 4/6 / 8GB RAM and 64GB or 128GB expandable storage. The rear cameras of the device are four in a vertical arrangement with the main one being the Sony IMX586 at 48MP, the secondary one 8MP wide and two 2MP one macro and one depth.

Otherwise, the Realme 5 Pro has a USB type-C port, 4.045mAh battery with support for fast charging at 20W, fingerprint sensor, runs ColorOS 6 based on Android 9 Pie. The device will be available on September 4 in two colors Crystal Green and Sparkling Blue and with a price starting at INR13.999 or 175 €.

On the other hand, the economical Redmi 5 comes with a 6,5-inch IPS LCD screen with a resolution of 720 × 1.600 pixels, 89% screen-to-body ratio, Gorilla Glass 3 protection, and a waterdrop notch with a 13MP selfie camera.

The Redmi 5 is equipped with the Snapdragon 655 which comes with 3GB or 4GB of RAM and 32GB or 64GB of expandable storage. In the device we will find again four vertically placed rear cameras with the main one being at 12MP, the secondary one being wide angle at 8MP, and two 2MP macro and depth sensors.

Other features include a micro-USB port, a 5.000mAh battery, a fingerprint sensor and running ColorOS 6 based on Android 9 Pie. The Redmi 5 will be released in two colors, Crystal Blue and Crystal Purple will be available on August 27 and will cost from INR9.999 or 125 €.
