Along with its long-awaited series Redmi K30The redmi released an elegant ultrabook which has narrow frames, with the name Redmi Book 13.
Το RedmiBook 13 has a durable metal body, 40Wh battery and 10th generation Intel processor. Overall the new RedmiBook comes with a very compact design, which makes it narrower than an A4 page and weighs just 1,23 kg.
Specifications
Initially we have a 13,3-inch IPS screen with FHD resolution, and with a body-to-screen ratio that reaches an astonishing 89%. The bezels at the top and sides of the screen are very thin, while at the bottom it is slightly larger, which also houses the RedmiBook logo.
The RedMiBook 13 is powered by an Intel i5-10210U or i7-10510U processor combined with 8 GB of DDR4 RAM and 512GB of SSD storage. Both versions with i5 or i7 processor come with Nvidia GeForce MX250 graphics card with VRAM memory in 2GB GDDR5. There is also a standard model with an Intel i5 processor with built-in graphics, and without a standalone graphics card.
In terms of inputs / outputs, we will find two USB 3.1 ports, a full HDMI port, a 3,5mm headphone jack and a dedicated charging port. The battery is 40 Wh, supports fast charging 1C and has a range of about 11 hours.
Software
In terms of software, it has Windows 10 Home with a pre-installed version of Office Student. Xiaomi also supports reciprocal file transfer, for easy transfer of your files between your Xiaomi laptop and smartphone.
Pricing and availability
The RedmiBook 13 starts at $ 597 for the base version with a built-in graphics card, while the model with Intel i5 processor and GeForce MX250 graphics card is priced at $ 640.
The model with the Intel i7 processor is priced at $ 739.
Pre-orders for all variants of the RedMiBook 13 are scheduled to begin today, with official sales set to begin on December 12 in China.
No mention has yet been made of availability, and whether we will ever see it officially sold in Europe as well.
