RedMi Pro 2: Will have SD855 - NFC - 3,5 mm headphone jack and fast charging, confirms Lu Weibing

It's no secret that her independent brand-name XiaomiThe Redmi, is preparing to present its first flagship as an independent Brand, which will be powered by the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC .

Τthe new Smartphone has been the focus of various rumors in recent weeks, but also messages on Weibo from the VP of RedMi, Lu Weibing, who also shared various information with us.

In fact, in a recent message, Weibing, published in Weibo that the upcoming Redmi flagship will also have a 3,5mm headphone jack, something we miss so much in other flagships.

In a new post on Weibo, Weibing, in two separate messages, officially confirms that the device will come with NFC support, as well as wireless charging.

This is all the information we can reveal now. However, from previous leaks and rumors, it is "known" that the new Redmi Pro 2 (the exact name is not known at the moment) is expected to have almost 100% screen (Bezel-less), and without any notch or notch in screen for Selfie camera.

As for the main cameras, the device will reportedly have a 48MP sensor combined with a second depth sensor for portrait shooting, and maybe even a wide-angle lens.

Finally, the phone will probably have a fingerprint sensor mounted on the back of the device.

The presentation of this premium smartphone by Redmi is expected next month, although nothing official has been announced yet. We look forward to learning more details as we approach the presentation event.

Let's not forget that RedMi is ready to present the new Redmi Y3 - the third version of the RedMi Y series, which are selfie-centric devices for the Indian market - on April 24.
