RedMi Note 9: Appeared on GeekBench with an unknown Mediatek SoC

As most of you may know, the Xiaomi will unveil the new smartphones of the series RedMi Note 9 on 12 March. 


ΔVarious leaks and rumors that have been circulating so far suggest that RedMi will probably release a total of three devices that day - the Redmi Note 9 Pro, the Redmi Note 9 Pro Max and the simple RedMi Note 9.

To date there has not been much information about the simple RedMi Note 9, but that now seems to be changing, as today we spotted a new Xiaomi smartphone at Geekbench code-named "Merlin”And we consider that it is the Redmi Note 9.

The Geekbench Reference Reference List reveals that this device will be powered by  MediaTek MT6769V / CZ SoC. But the strange thing is that this is her SoC Mediatek has not been announced anywhere, and may eventually be a modified version of it MediaTek Helio P90 SoC.

The device appears to have 6GB RAM and this is another factor that suggests that “Merlin”Is a mid-range device - most likely the Redmi Note 9.

According to the list in GeekBench, the Redmi Note 9 is running MIUI 11 based on Android 10, and in terms of its performance in GeekBench, the device has succeeded  341 units in single core tests (Single Core) and 1.263 units in multi-core tests (Multi Core).

Everything will unravel in two days from today, as the devices will be officially presented, and of course if by then we have any newer information we will inform you in a new article.
