Xiaomi Group Vice President and General Manager of Redmi, Lou Weibing, posted a new message on Weibo yesterday that brought upset to the company's fans.
In this message, the General Manager of RedMi, stated that the first generation of the Redmi Note was released five years ago, adding that something good will happen soon.
«We always believe that good things will happen soon", Is the classic slogan of Redmi smartphones. The general manager of the company obviously implies the imminent appearance of the Redmi Note 8.
At present, little is known about the new model. The first sample of photos taken with 64MP resolution was published several days ago, and in this way the company declares that it is ready to enter the era of Smartphones that will have a sensor with a resolution of 64MP.
Lou Weibing previously mentioned that the main camera of the new smartphone will have 4 sensors in the layout of the main camera.
The only known sensor at the moment with 64MP resolution is the Samsung GW1. Its main feature is that the size of the sensor is 1 / 1,72 inches and the size of a pixel is 0,8m. Using Tetracell's combined technology and retest algorithm, the pixels are combined into quadrants and essentially the output image is at 16MP, regardless of whether the sensor is at 64MP. The camera also supports dynamic range up to 100 dB HDR and Super PDAF autofocus.
More details about its other features Redmi Note 8 have not been revealed yet, but it seems that the new RedMi Smartphone will make its debut sometime by the end of August.
