RedMi Note 8 PRO: Unboxing and Hands-on photos show the "grandeur" of the device.

Η redmi of Xiaomi as it is known presented yesterday Notes redmi 8 Pro in China alongside the Redmi Note 8, but there is no doubt that the Redmi Note 8 Pro is "all the money".

Αin terms of design - build quality and features, the RedMi Note 8 Pro promises to be a top device in its class, and demand is expected to soar.

This is probably why the CEO of RedMi, Lu Weibing, stressed during the presentation that the device will not be released soon in India (but probably not in another market - see Europe).

The fans of the company in India but also in all the other countries obviously, will have to wait for 2-3 more months before the device is released in other markets.

Today we have some hands-on / unboxing photos of the Redmi Note 8 Pro in all its glory.

The Redmi Note 8 Pro has a 6.53-inch screen (IPS LCD) with HD + resolution (1080 x 2340 pixels), and 91.4% screen-to-body ratio. The screen has a water Drop Notch, under which is housed the 20MP Selfie camera.

The phone also comes with a special coating that is resistant to liquids with IP52 certification, but has also received TUV Rheinland certification for the screen which means that it filters very well all the harmful blue rays that tire the eyes. The device is coated front and back with Gorilla Glass 5.

This premium model is powered by MediaTek's SoC Helio G90T, and comes with 6GB / 8GB of RAM. The device comes with storage options of 64GB and 128GB, but there is also a special microSD card slot for expanding the capacity.

When it comes to cameras, the Redmi Note 8 Pro packs a quad-camera installation on the back. The cameras are in a vertical arrangement, with the three camera sensors and the fingerprint sensor together in one unit, while the fourth camera sensor is on the right side at the same level as the LED flash.

The quad-camera installation includes a sensor with f / 1,7 aperture - ISOCELL Bright GW1 at 64MP as the main camera, an extremely wide 8MP lens, a 2MP macro lens with a focal length of 2cm and a 2MP depth sensor. The main sensor has a large pixel size of 1,6 microns, and can capture high resolution images up to 9248 x 6936 pixels, while the RedMi Note 8 Pro can capture slow motion video at 960fps.

The device is powered by a 4.500mAh battery that supports fast charging at 18W. The Note 8 Pro also comes with liquid cooling technology that can be found in more expensive Gaming Smartphone models.

The phone antennas are cleverly tuned - so as not to interfere with the signal by holding the device in landscape orientation during gaming.

The device also provides a superlinear speaker with a built-in smart PA (Power Amplifier - Audio Amplifier), while it also has NFC, IR Blaster, dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, GPS, USB-C and 3.5mm audio jack.

The device runs MIUI 10 based on Android 9 Pie and also has the Game Turbo 2.0 function.

Pricing starts at 1.399 yuan (~ $ 195) for the 6GB + 64GB version. The 6GB + 128GB version is available at 1.599 yuan (~ $ 223), while the 8GB + 128GB variant is priced at 1.799 yuan (~ $ 251). The device is available in Ice Jade, Fritillaria White and Electro-optic Ash colors.

The photos you saw are from the Unboxing of the variation with the Ice Jade color made by myDrivers.
