Reports of Brick on RedMi Note 8 Pro when one tries to pass one Custom ROM - Recovery - Magisk Root Manager or even in some cases simply by upgrading it MIUI ROM.
ΤIn September, Xiaomi released the Redmi Note 8 along with the Redmi Note 8 Pro. Needless to say, the most impressive Redmi Note 8 Pro broke the box office. It is the first smartphone on the market with a 64MP camera and the first with the MediaTek Helio G90T gaming chipset.
It was a surprise move from Xiaomi, which had Qualcomm Snapdragon processors from the Redmi Note 5 onwards. However, some fans of the company did not purchase due to MediaTek SoC due to lack of Custom ROM support. For this reason, Xiaomi released the kernel source code shortly after its announcement and sent 10 units to recognized developers from the XDA community.
The hope that the mobile could get custom ROMs quickly faded. The phone crashes when you try to flash a new ROM or a recovery or even an MIUI update via recovery. The main problem is that developers and owners of flash drives and ROMs do not have a way to unlock their smartphones.
Unlike Qualcomm Snapdragon processor devices that can pass firmware and other packages via fastboot commands, the Redmi Note 8 Pro requires MediaTek SPFlashTool software. The platform is capable, however, in this case the mobile requires an authorized Xiaomi account. For this reason, those who do not have this type of account can do nothing to unblock their smartphones.
Xiaomi has not made any comment while Xiaomi's service that unlocks devices when there is an issue (SS: you do not want to get involved with it) charges for the service. It's the only way for owners and developers to get their phones back to normal. The situation has made it impossible for developers to create custom ROMs. Even small errors in the Redmi Note 8 Pro can lead to a crashed phone and without errors it is impossible to develop new software.
Our Xiaomi.EU-based ROM community for Greek XTRV ROMs has withdrawn support for the Redmi Note 8 Pro due to bribery issues.
Hey @ Xiaomi @ XiaomiIndia @RedmiIndia @manukumarjain please look into brick issue of note8pro, make it developer friendly, give us something so we won't be needing authorized account for SP flash tool every time the phone bricks. # Note8ProBrick https://t.co/pdazRQ7xux

Many are constantly complaining on Twitter to Xiaomi. The easiest and most obvious way to resolve this issue is to provide an SPFlashTool version that does not require an authorized Mi. account. Xiaomi has not yet made an official statement. Hopefully it won't take long. In the meantime, anyone who wants to can follow #Note8ProBrick on Twitter.
