In addition to the rear cameras, the Redmi Note 7 (India version) and the recently announced RedmiNote 7S, are essentially identical devices.
Εbut n Redmi / Xiaomi does not mention it anywhere so far, we firmly believe that the only reason why it was released Redmi Notes 7S due to supply problems it had with the 48MP camera.
There was not much stock of the 48MP sensor for the Redmi Note 7, and RedMi, in order to suspend the device, chose to install 12MP + 2MP sensors in the dual camera instead.
So now that there is enough stock, he decided to re-release essentially the same device as Redmi Notes 7S with a slightly higher price.
But what will happen from now on with Redmi Note 7?
According to Yash Garg, the Redmi Notes 7S will replace the Redmi Note 7. This means that the Indian version of the RedMi Note 7 will no longer be available. To be honest, we do not see why anyone would want to buy the Redmi Note 7 when the Note 7S with much better cameras will only cost INR 1000 (~ $ 14) more.
WRT - Redmi Note 7S replacing Redmi Note 7 - this is for India only.

But for those who have already bought the Redmi Note 7 just before the release of the Redmi Note 7S, we understand that this is frustrating, and it leaves them with a bitterness.
It would be nice if there was some kind of program from RedMi, where Redmi Note 7 owners could replace the cameras on their phones for a fee, of course, the INR 1000 price difference (~ $ 14).
This is just a wish of the owners of the RedMi Note 7, and it may never happen.
