Started by Xiaomi, the development of MIUI 11 based on Android 10 for RedMi Note 7 and RedMi Note 7 Pro.
ΤLast June, Xiaomi unveiled a list for the development of its beta versions MIUI 11 based on Android 10 on her smartphone. This list included a total of 11 Smartphones, of which the first nine should have received the new beta firmware by the end of 2019, and the remaining two (the Redmi Note 7 and the Redmi Note 7 Pro), in the first quarter of 2020.
The nine smartphones that had to get the new firmware based on Android 10, have already been upgraded, and the only ones left from the list are the two Smartphones in the series RedMi Note 7.
A moderator revealed at the Xiaomi Forum that the company has already started developing the beta version of MIUI 11 based on Android 10 on the Redmi Note 7 and Redmi Note 7 Pro - a month earlier than it had announced.
It should be noted that the new firmware (ROM) is currently only available in closed beta tester groups. But given Xiaomi's update history, each new firmware is released as a public beta (Developer ROM), after two to three weeks of testing.
It takes an additional two months or so for the first Stable ROM to be distributed in China, and the same goes for the Global Stable ROM.
As you know, Xiaomi has stopped distributing the weekly Global Developer ROM, and based on the above data, the first Global Stable ROM based on Android 10 for the RedMi Note 7 and RedMi Note 7 Pro will be available by next March .
The Greek ones XTRV ROM of our community based on ROMs from Xiaomi.eu, will proceed to the distribution of the first weekly Developer MIUI 11 ROM based on Android 10 for RedMi Note 7 & 7 Pro, about 2 weeks from now, as soon as the first versions of Public Beta ROM for China become available.
