Redmi K70/Pro : Made official with AMOLED screen 6.67″ 2K 120Hz, and Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 / 8 Gen 3 respectively

Η Xiaomi announced today at an event held in China, the brand new smartphones Redmi K70E, K70 and K70 Pro

The Redmi K70 and K70 Pro have flat 6,67 inch AMOLED screen with analysis 2K, developed jointly with TCL Huaxing with new material C8 which offers maximum brightness up to 4000 nits, and with a refresh rate 120 Hz.

The screen has panels in 12-bit and supports the HDR10 + and Dolby Vision and have PWM high frequency in 3840Hz, while at the same time they also have eye protection certification TÜV Rheinland, touch sampling rate 2160Hz and support 68,7 billion colors.

The Redmi K70 Pro powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC with Xiaomi's self-developed cooling system with a vapor-liquid circular cold pump design, with a one-way circulation structure, the sub promises up to 3 times better performance than a traditional VC cooling system.

This cooling system covers a large area on the device reaching an area of 5000mm².

In addition to the above, the device has memory RAM which reaches up to 24 GB LPDDR5X and storage space up to 1TB UFS 4.0. Xiaomi claims that the phone has scored 2.24 million points at AnTuTu 10.

The phone has triple rear cameras with the main sensor being on the 50MP (1/1.55″ Light Fusion 800) with OIS, an Ultrawide camera at 12MP and a telephoto camera at 50MP with optical zoom 2x.

There is also a special edition of it Redmi K70 Pro “Automobili Lamborghini SQUADRA CORSE” which has a custom design, and is available in two colors with a specially customized gift box. This special edition Redmi K70 Pro is only available with 24GB + 1TB and will be released soon.

On the other hand, the basic version of the Redmi K70 has a similar display to the Pro version, but the device is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC (scored at 1.71 million points on AnTuTu), and becomes available with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB UFS 4.0 for storage.

The basic version of the Redmi K70 has the same main camera as the PRO with OIS, but it has an Ultrawide camera on the 8MP and replaces the telephoto camera with a Macro camera at 2MP.

Both phones have a glass back and metal frame and pack a single power supply battery at 5000mAh with support for fast charging at 120W, and the devices are also equipped with the fast charging chip P2 and the battery management chip G1.

The only negative is that the phones they do not have wireless charging which was present in the K60 and K60 Pro.
