Redmi K60 Ultra : Made official in China with Dimensity 9200+ SOC, up to 24GB RAM and IP68 Rating

Xiaomi presented today in China the new Redmi K60 Ultra, the series flagship Redmi K60with Dimension 9200+ SoC of Mediatek

The phone has CSOT C7 OLED screen 6.67″ with analysis 1.5K (2712 x 1220 pixels), refresh rate 144Hz, with maximum brightness at 2600 nits, attenuation PWM high frequency in 2880Hz, which also supports the HDR 10+ and Dolby Vision.

The new flagship of the RedMi K60 series is equipped with the Dimensity 9200+ SoC from Mediatek, and comes with up to 24GB of RAM (LPPDDR5X) and up to 1TB storage space (UFS 4.0). For better cooling, the device is equipped with an extremely large technology heat dissipation system VC which reaches a total area of 5000mm², which features a combination of cards with stainless steel and graphene, but also micro-nano cavities from a special thermally conductive film.

The new Redmi K60 Ultra is the first Redmi Smartphone with which it has IP68 Rating certification for dust and water resistance.

As far as the cameras are concerned, on the large island that is placed on the back of the device, we find an arrangement of three cameras together with the LED flash, consisting of a main camera at 50MP with sensor IMX800 by SONY with OIS, one Ultra Wide camera in 8MP, and finally one Macro camera in 2MP.

For the front Selfie camera we have a sensor in 20MP with the sensor IMX596 by SONY.

The phone is powered by a battery at 5000mAh with support for fast charging on 120w which can charge the battery up to 100% in just 19 minutes. The device is also equipped with the special charging chip Sure P1, but also the battery management chip Surge G1 which were developed by Xiaomi itself.

The Redmi K60 Ultra becomes available in China at black, white and green, with pricing as follows:

• 12GB + 256GB – 2599 yuan (approx. $358 / €327)
• 16GB + 256GB – 2799 yuan (approx. $385 / €352)
• 16GB + 512GB – 2999 yuan (approx. $413 / €378)
• 16GB + 1TB – 3299 yuan (approx. $454 / €415)
• 24GB + 1TB – 3599 yuan (approx. $495 / €453)

The devices are already available to order and are already being sold in China, but the model with 24GB + 1TB will be available from August 22.
