RedMi K60 Series : Officially launched in China on December 27, with three different SoCs

Today Xiaomi announced that it will launch on December 27 in China, his new series Redmi K60 with the Redmi Note 12 Pro Extreme, but also Redmi Watch 3, Redmi band 2 and headphones Redmi Buds 4 Youth Version


The company posted through its account on Weibo, a number of new posters, in which many of the specifications that the devices of the series will have are revealed to us. In his turn Redmi K60 will be included 3 different versions which will have different SoCs.

  • On Vanilla version of Redmi K60 with Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 SoC
  • The Redmi K60SE with Dimensity 8200 SoC by Mediatek
  • The Redmi K60 Pro with Snapdragon 8 Gen2 

 

The Redmi K60 Pro will also have a variant with 12GB of LPDDR5X type RAM and 512GB storage space with UFS4.0 flash, but the company places great emphasis on the specifications of the screen that the device will have. All devices in the series will be equipped with resolution display panels at 2K, however Remi K60 Pro will be equipped with one better quality AMOLED panel at 12bit which will have very strong specifications.

As we can see from the above poster released by the company, this display will use C6 as the lighting material, it will have color accuracy ΔE≈0.29, JNCD≈0.24 and will support low blue light emission at the material level, protecting the eyes from fatigue.

In addition, the Redmi K60 screen will also have other features such as screen dynamic color temperature adjustment according to environmental conditions, the Dimming into a 16.000 different gradations, but it will also support the Dolby Vision, but also the HDR10 + and Vivid HDR.

According to information, the Redmi with Huaxing created a joint innovation lab to design new materials for AMOLED displays. In this lab, the two companies jointly develop a new architecture and improved algorithms for the displays, in order to improve their quality both at the platform level, but also in increasing the performance and quality controls that are done during their production process.

The Redmi K60 Pro surpass them 1.350.526 points on its benchmarking platform Antutu, far surpassing the Score of other devices also equipped with it Snapdragon 8 Gen2 SoC from Qualcomm.

At the same event, in addition to the RedMi K60 series, Redmi will also present the new version of Redmi Note 12 Pro Extreme Edition, but also a series of news Gadgets and Wearables, like the Redmi Watch 3, Redmi band 2 and the Redmi Buds 4 Youth Version headphones.

The new Redmi Watch 3 will have OLED screen at 1.75 inches with brightness in 600nits and Pixel density at 344PPI.

As for the TWS earphones Redmi Buds 4 Youth Edition, these adopt a new green color scheme, similar in shape to the Apple AirPods 3. According to the company, these three new products will bring new technologies, be light, colorful and have better autonomy than previous generations.
