Η Xiaomi presented in China its new series Redmi K60 last month, but the Redmi K60 and K60 Pro became available on the country's market yesterday, successfully completing their first Flash sale
As announced today by Redmi on its official account at Weibo, were sold in total 300.000 units of phones in just 5 minutes.
This number may sound impressive if we consider that more than 300.000 units (bought approx 100 devices every second or 60.000 every minute), but unfortunately, despite the success of the first sale, the new Redmi K60 series still falls short of the sales record set by its predecessor. The Redmi K50 which was made available in two versions, sold out 330.000 devices on day one, and we're essentially dealing with one drop of 10% in this first sale.
It remains to be seen if the total sales of all three devices in the Redmi K60 series will surpass the sales of the Redmi K50 series.
