After several weeks of leaks and rumors, the Redmi, just confirmed to us today that the Redmi K50 Gaming Edition will be officially presented on 16 February.
Σday h redmi has published a series of new posters (teasers), in which it gives us enough information about the special edition of Redmi K50 e-sport edition.
As stressed by Redmi, this version e-sports of Redmi K50 will not only be a top-performing smartphone, but will also feature a number of new technologies.
In the posters that were published we can see that this new RedMi Gaming Smartphone will have special folding sides Gaming keys (magnetic triggers), therefore it will have about the same design as its predecessor - the Redmi K40 Gaming Edition, allowing the more hardcore Gamera to be able to use four fingers during Gaming.
Also, from the posters that have been published, we immediately notice the very aggressive design that it has, with the flash being in the shape of lightning - as we had seen with the K40 Gaming Edition.
Regarding the other specifications of the device, it has been reported that gaming version of the Redmi K50 has one AMOLED screen with hole for Selfie camera and refresh rate at 120Hz.
The smartphone will be equipped with the top Snapdragon 8 Gen1 its processor Qualcomm, and will have one large VC liquid cooling system (with steam chambers). This technology uses a flat airtight steam chamber, which allows heat to be transferred evenly throughout the body of the appliance, and is much better than the conventional cooling system with Heat Pipes, but has a slightly higher cost.
Redmi puts a lot of emphasis on the cooling system, and in fact Lu Weibing, his chairman Xiaomi Group China and its general manager Redmi, had recently stated that the purpose of the publication e-sport of the Redmi K50 is to become the Smartphone that will operate at the lowest temperature, of all the other devices that will be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC.
RedMi also revealed a version Mercedes AMG Petronas with the corresponding colors.
The company is also expected to release its versions Redmi K50, K50 Pro and K50 Pro + to be powered by Snapdragon 870, Dimensity 8000 and Dimensity 9000 SoC respectively, however it is not yet clear whether all these devices will be presented at the same event at the same time.
