The Redmi K30 became official in China, along with three other products Redmi, such as the router Redmi AC2100, RedmiBook 13 laptop and a smart speaker.
Το Redmi K30 is the successor to the Redmi K20, which was released in India last July. The new Redmi K30 offers 5G support and has an optical sensor Sony IMX686 at 64 megapixels.
Features of the Redmi K30
The Redmi K30 comes with a 6,67-inch display with a refresh rate of 120Hz and a 20: 9 aspect ratio. It features a dual-hole design for Selfie cameras and curved edges. The screen has Full HD + resolution (1080 × 2400 pixels), and both the front and back of the device are protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5.
The device has a design of 12 antennas and includes dual frequency GPS support. The Redmi K30 comes with a large 4.500mAh battery with support for 30W fast charge technology.
Redmi's new Smartphone is powered by Qualcomm's new Snapdragon 765 SoC, which supports 5G. The company has already confirmed that it will also release the 4G version of the Redmi K30, of course at a lower price.
The new Smartphone is available in three storage options: 6GB + 64GB, 8GB + 128GB, and 12GB RAM + 256GB, and comes with Xiaomi's MIUI 11 based on Android 10.
In terms of cameras, the Redmi K30 has four cameras on the back, which include a 686-megapixel Sony IMX64 sensor. The main sensor is additionally supported by a 2 megapixel sensor, a 5 megapixel sensor and an 8 megapixel sensor.
The phone has a dual Selfie camera with a 20-megapixel sensor supported by artificial intelligence (AI) features, and an additional 2-megapixel depth sensor. The RedMi K30 has the fingerprint sensor mounted on the side of the device, and it is no surprise that the phone retains the USB Type-C interface and a 3,5 mm headphone jack and supports the IR-Blaster.
Other features of the Redmi K30 include support for dual SIM, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, dual band GPS, NFC, Hi-Res Audio, 1217 and super line speakers with Smart PA.
Redmi K30 4G
The Redmi K30 4G version is a cheaper alternative to the 5G version. The device has most of the features of the Redmi K30 5G. The only significant difference is that it is powered by an 8nm Snapdragon 730G SoC, which also powers the previous phone in the series, the Redmi K20. It also supports fast charging at 27W. The other features of the 4G variant are identical to those of the K30 5G.
