The Redmi K20 Pro had its first official sale yesterday, with the K20 to follow on 6 June.
ΤOfficial Xiaomi figures show that more than 200,000 units were sold at noon. The sale lasted one hour and forty-five minutes. This number certainly does not break any record, like the Mi 9 flash sale that lasted seconds.
The latter, however, did not have a sufficient number of units for sale and after the complaints, the managers ran to the factories.
Prices and stock
In terms of price, the 6GB + 64GB version was released at 2499 yuan (325 euros), the 6GB + 128GB version for 2599 yuan (338 euros), the 8GB + 128GB version at 2799 yuan (364 euros) and the 8GB + 256GB version at 2999 yuan (390 euros). At the press conference, Lu Weibing said that the Redmi K20 series has stock in eight warehouses and that stock will generally not be a problem.
We remind you that the device is equipped with the most powerful chipset on the market (Snapdragon 855), has an AMOLED FullHD + screen with a ratio of 91,9% for top display without "limiting" the viewing levels. It has extremely thin bezels at 2.1 mm, while with versions at 8GB RAM, Game Turbo 2.0 function and a special coating inside of 8 levels of toner achieves ideal cooling for top performance in the field of mobile gaming.
The Redmi K20 Pro "runs" Android 9 Pie with the MIUI 10 interface, while it has a triple main camera with Sony IMX586 lenses at 48MP, 8MP telephoto and an ultra-wide sensor of 125 degrees!
In front it "hides" a pop-up selfie camera at 20MP with a sapphire lens cover that can appear in just 0,8 seconds, while its drive mechanism guarantees that it will withstand use for over 300.000 times. Its screen has an in-display 7th generation fingerprint sensor that offers 100% improved response compared to previous models, while it works even with minimal pressure!
The device retains the 3D curved design of the Redmi K20, while it will be available in 3 versions (Flame Red, Glacier Blue and Carbon Fiber with real Kevlar coating). It has a 4000 mAh battery with quick charging function at 27W, which can charge the device from zero to 58% in just 30 minutes!
