The Redmi K20 have been around for a long time, and are available in markets outside China under the name Xiaomi Mi 9T, with the Pro version still pending. Nevertheless, the company does not stop promoting the devices in any way.
Αthis time, the vice president of Xiaomi Global, Manu Kimar Jain, posted a video promoting Redmi K20 Pro advertising slow motion video recording and splash proof coat.
Jain took advantage of it #BottleCapChallenge, which is viral this season thanks to Jason Statham, to advertise the device. In the video he uses a bottle that would be anything but suitable for the challenge.

Having the bottle on the table, he placed a Redmi K20 Pro next to it and started the challenge. The whole scene was captured by the camera of another K20 Pro at 960fps. Spoiler alert for those who have not yet seen the video, Jain did not succeed and threw the bottle on the smartphone while soaking.
Jain posted the video using #BottleCapChallenge, noted that its effort is different from the others, and stressed the possibility of slow motion recording and the splash proof coat of the Redmi K20 Pro.
In the end, Jain invited everyone to share the tweet if they want to see him try again. The video is quite impressive in terms of quality, and certainly the way Xiaomi Global Vice President thought of advertising the device is special.
