We are a few hours away from the revelation, and what we are adding today is that the device will also support fast charging at 18W, and of course it will have USB-Type C.
RedMi 8 - Features
Based on what we know so far, it will be a very affordable Smartphone in terms of price, and comes with a huge 5.000mAh battery. It's a bit strange that Xiaomi did not release both devices (Redmi 8A and Redmi 8) in China at the same time.
In terms of device features now, the list posted on China Telecom lists the M1908C3IC as the model number for the Redmi 8. It has the same processor as the Redmi 7 and the Redmi 8A, which is none other than the Snapdragon 439 of the previous year.
It has almost the same structure and design and measures 156,33 × 75,40 × 9,40 in terms of dimensions, while it is a bit heavy as a device since it weighs 188g, and this is obviously due to the larger battery it has.
It has a 6,21 inch HD screen, USB Type-C port and a 3,5mm headphone jack. There's a 12MP + 2MP dual camera setting on the back (the Redmi 8A has one camera), and an 8MP Selfie camera on the front. It will be available in red, green and blue shades.
