Η Redmi is set to launch a new smartphone in India in the coming weeks, it has revealed 91mobiles
Σaccording to the well-known tipster Yogesh brar, the company is preparing to release the Redmi 11 Prime 5G in India — adding a new member to its ranks redmi 11 in the country. The device is probably not new, but rather an updated version of it Redmi Notes 11E 5G which was released in China last March of this year.

According to brar, the upcoming smartphone Redmi 11 Prime 5G expected to be similar to Redmi Notes 11E 5G released in China. This indicates that the device will be equipped with the Dimensity 700 SoC by Mediatek — the same chipset that powers the Redmi Notes 11E in China.
Other features of the Chinese version of the smartphone include a 6,58-inch IPS LCD screen with a renewal rate of 90Hz and Full HD + resolution. The device is expected to have up to 6GB RAM and 128GB storage, while in terms of cameras, it will feature a dual camera setup on the back with sensors at 50MP and a front Selfie camera at 5MP.
The device will be powered by one battery at 5.000mAh with fast charging at 18W. The overall specifications of the smartphone suggest that it will be in the low price segment and will also deliver connectivity to 5G networks.
Xiaomi recently announced that it has sold over 7 million 5G smartphones in India, while its recent report Mint ranks Xiaomi (which includes both Redmi and POCO) ranked third in 5G Smartphone shipments in India, with Samsung and Vivo to occupy the first two positions respectively.
