The new information was announced by the famous leakster, Digital Chat Station, who claims that the Redmi K50 Ultra will make its debut in the second half of the year, and according to him, the device will be equipped with AMOLED 2K resolution screen with high refresh rate at 120Hz and Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC.
As can be seen from the above, the main difference and the advantage that will have Redmi K50 Ultra compared to the other models in the series will be the presence of a new platform from Qualcomm. Remember this is a better SoC than Snapdragon 8 Gen1 and is made with the technology of 4 nanometers of TSMC. The new SoC offers up 30% improvement in energy efficiency and against 10% better performance on both CPU and GPU.
The device is also expected to support fast charging 120w which is able to fully charge the battery in minutes. In this way, Redmi wants to accelerate the spread of charging in 120 watts.
As we said above, the new Redmi K50 Ultra is expected to be released in the second half of this year, but the exact date is not yet known.
