RealMe: It will announce the world's first smart TV with SLED screen

Η Realme is a technology company that continues to expand into many new product categories, but also into Smart TVs.

Σday, we shed more light on one of its upcoming products - the Realme Smart TV SLED 4K 55 inches.

Last June, our company confirmed that it will continue to expand its portfolio to smart TVs for premium section, with a new model 55 inch. Apart from the size, no extras were announced about the specifications of this device, and until yesterday the Realme did not provide us with any information about the developments either.

Today, however, our company finally informed that it is preparing to release a new TV that will be different from the others on the market, as it will be the first TV in the world that will be equipped with a SLED screen.

The sleds is a proprietary term coined by her Realme, and refers to a new production process LED panel, developed by John Rooymans, Chief Scientist of SPD (Spectral Power Distribution).

So compared to traditional screens LED or even QLED, The sleds screens RealMe claims will have a wider range of colors and lower blue light emitting tires.

As the Realme, conventional panels have blue backlighting which is then converted to other colors. Compared to these technologies, a technology panel sleds uses a backlight matrix RGB in the initial stage, thus reducing the emission of blue light and the unpleasant effects associated with it, but at the same time achieves a more natural representation of colors with technology SPD.

In addition, new technology from RealMe, will also offer a wider range of colors covering up to 108% of the color spectrum NTSC. This will allow higher color accuracy that will be very close to real (true-to-life), thus reproducing far more colors than standard TVs.

The new panel will also have a more balanced color distribution between red, green and blue sub-pixel.

H Realme Smart TV SLED has also received certification Low Blue Light by TUV Rheinland, making it one of the only LED TVs in this segment that has succeeded.

The company will soon release this new TV on India, but has not yet confirmed the exact date.
