Η Qualcomm announced the news today 678 Snapdragon SoC, which belongs to the next generation of the 600 series, and is the successor to the Snapdragon 675 released in 2018.
ΤQualcomm's new SoC is equipped with Kryo 460 CPU with clock up to 2,2GHz, compared to 2GHz of SD675, and Adreno GPU 612. According to the company, the new SD678 has improved performance compared to its predecessor, offering faster speeds with greater efficiency.
What becomes immediately apparent from the following specifications of the new SoC, is that it is essentially a Overckocked version of SD675.
