The Pocophone F1 or also known as POCO F1 in India has just started receiving the fixed OTA update on Android Pie. The device is already running on MIUI 10 since the beginning of November, but the software that was running on Android 8.1 Oreo, so the upgrade to Android 9,0 Pie is more than welcome.
The update is 1.7GB in size and brings some of the much-anticipated features of Pie. So Xiaomi today started distributing the version MIUI 10.1.3.0 (PEJMIFI) of the software. In addition to the new look, the upgrade also introduces support Google Lens in the default camera application, and also fixes some issues that still exist.
However, Xioami is also taking a step back with this update. Some users already running the new Pie complain about some minor but annoying bugs, such as games not running in full screen mode, or can no longer hide the Notch slot. It seems that the option has been removed, and we hope that Xiaomi will bring it back in a future update.
