Η Google recently deleted many malicious Android apps from Play Store, after receiving reports that they had abused their privacy policy.
Τa Store of its applications Google and Apple, have strict quality control measures, but many times, application publishers find many ways to bypass these controls.
In particular, there are at least 38 applications that have been confirmed by Google to violate the privacy policy, and often bombard users' devices with irrelevant ads. It is worth noting that all of these applications come from the same development team.
These malicious applications were detected by the security company White Ops, which as soon as it discovered the problem, immediately reported it to Google, proposing the removal of the specific applications.
This malware is mainly related to beauty applications, selfie cameras or image filters, and once installed on users' devices they will start bombarding users with too much ads, constantly opening the browser that redirects them to specific sites.
In fact, they prevent users from uninstalling these applications by hiding their icons from the screen.
Despite the quick deletion of these applications by Google, the White Ops points out that already 17 of these malicious applications, managed to have a total of over half a million downloads.
We suggest you check the list below and delete the applications in case you have already installed some of them on your device.
