Almost nothing is hidden about them Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL, as in the last hours the site team 9to5google constantly publishes new information about specifications, the functions, but also sampling shots from their rear camera.

Naturally, the evolution of the Google Assistant digital assistant and the ability to interact with it, while the face recognition system (Face Unlock) and gestures (Motion Sense) is also of great interest.
Starting with Google Assistant, after the initial activation with the voice command "Hey Google" or from the active box on the edge of the Pixel 4 / 4XL, the ability to continue your conversation (Continued Conversation) is normally supported, as the Assistant understands the box of the discussion. Google has also managed to reduce the amount of data required to run the Assistant from 100GB to just 0.5GB and now the whole process is done exclusively on the device for greater security and privacy. Keep in mind that commands such as activating / deactivating the quick settings of the device (eg Wi-Fi, Airplane Mode) are executed even if you are offline.

For the Face Unlock and Motion Sense functions, the famous Soli chipset is equated. Its sensors recognize the user at a speed comparable to that of Apple's Face ID (at least that shows promo video) and there is an option to require an additional swipe on the screen to fully unlock. The same chip is responsible for recognizing gestures, which we have seen for some time from a promo video published by Google itself.
The Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL are officially unveiled on October 15th and pre-orders will start on the same day. With them we are expected to see the second generation Nest Mini, a new Nest WiFI, the second generation Pixel Buds and the Pixelbook Go.
