A new device is being prepared to be added to Oppo K series, following the K3 introduced a few months ago.
Τthe new Oppo K5 will still be a mid-range Smartphone judging by its features, and as its name suggests it will be below K3 in the Chinese company's device list.
The new Oppo Smartphone with the model number PCNM00 has just been certified by TENAA in China, and is rumored to be on the market as Oppo K5.
The certification process gave us some photos of the phone, as well as some details of its specifications. The K5 should feature a 1080-inch 2340 × 6,4 touchscreen with a built-in fingerprint sensor, an octa-core processor running at 2,2 GHz, 8 GB RAM, 128 GB expandable storage and a 3.920 mAh battery that will support the new charging Flash 30W VOOC 4.0 . It will run Android 9 Pie with the latest version of Oppo ColorOS.
There are four cameras on the back: 64 MP + 8 MP + 2 MP + 2 MP and one Selfie camera at 32MP. Although there is no other information about the cameras, we can conclude that the 64 MP camera will be the main camera, the 8 MP camera will be either a wide-angle lens or a telephoto lens, while one of the 2 MP cameras will be is Macro and the second for depth.
This camera layout is similar to the ones the Realme X2, and the K5 may be almost the same device, with a different name.
The dimensions of the K5 are 158,7 × 75,2 × 8,6 mm and weighs 182 grams. It will be offered at green, blue and white, at least in the Chinese market.
This new Smartphone from Oppo is expected to become official next month.
