ISPs are generally unreliable, so many internet users have opted for a VPN switch.
Η Opera had offered a free VPN for Android, but withdrew from release last year. Now, the company has announced a new VPN, which is integrated into the Opera browser, and starts with the beta version, available to everyone in the Play Store.
A VPN lets you route all of your device data over a secure connection before you start browsing the Internet. This prevents Internet service providers, as well as advertisers, from tracking your online activities. Since VPNs can record all your traffic, it is important that you trust your service provider. Many free VPNs have an advertising incentive to keep logs of your activities. But Opera promises that its free VPN service will not record your activity.
You can download the Opera browser beta for Android, and get an early taste of this new service. You can choose an area you want as a VPN server, or let the application decide for you making things easier.
Opera has announced that the new VPN service will gradually become available in the beta version of the application, so we will have to wait a little longer.
