OnePlus 7T: It became official with a triple camera - 90Hz screen and SD 855+

It was officially announced today OnePlus 7T, which comes with significant improvements to the camera and screen.

Θlet's start with the new triple camera, as this is the biggest upgrade to the new Smartphone. The main 48MP sensor uses the same Sony IMX586 sensor as before, but now has a slightly brighter aperture (f / 1,6, f / 1,7) than the OnePlus 7 Pro.

The new telephoto lens on the OnePlus 7T is at 12MP, and comes with 2x optical zoom. For comparison, the telephoto lens on the OnePlus 7 Pro offers better zoom (3x), but has a lower resolution (8MP). Note that unlike the 7 Pro, the 7T telephoto lens does not have OIS.

The third camera is at 16MP, and has a wide-angle lens with a field of view of 117 °, and is the same as the 7 Pro. The OnePlus 7T has Nightscape functionality as before, but also has two new functions. Now it has the Macro function for taking photos from 2,5 cm, but also the slow motion function (Slow Motion) at 960fps with 720p resolution.

In addition to the refresh rate of 90Hz, the screen supports HDR10 +, so you can enjoy the wide range of colors of new movies and TV shows. The Pro still has the upper hand in terms of screen, as the OnePlus 7T has 1080p + resolution instead of QHD that the Pro has.

The maximum screen brightness is at 1.000 nits, surpassing the Pro (800 nits), and the OnePlus 7T has a new tactile guide for a stronger and more natural vibration.

Note the "T" in Warp Charge 30T (Fast charge) of the device, as it states that charging is 23% faster than the previous standard Warp Charge 30. While maximum power remains the same, the new model offers an optimized charging curve, which means that the device's 3800mAh battery can reach 70% of charge in half an hour. Of course the OnePlus 7T does not yet support wireless charging.

The matte back of the device is made of 3D Corning Gorilla glass, and the device is available in Glacier Blue and Frosted Silver colors. The Glass on the front of the screen is flat, and is ideal for those who do not like the curves at the edges of the screen.

The chipset was upgraded with Snapdragon 855 + as expected, and as the list of games with 90Hz support grows rapidly, the new GPU's better GPU helps a lot. The OnePlus 7T now comes with 8GB of RAM and you can choose to store 128GB or 256GB with UFS 3.0.

The OnePlus 7T is the company's first Smartphone to ship with Android 10 from its packaging, and will be available first in India, starting on September 28, and will arrive in the US on October 18 with prices starting at 600 dollars.
