OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro: Delete data after error Update in OxygenOS 11.0.1.1

An error update from OnePlus was enough to cause total deletion of data to users OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro devices.

ΣIn particular, the company released the new OxygenOS 11.0.1.1, which is about stable build and includes several new features.

However, the company seems to have given the update to those who are in beta channel, resulting in it complete deletion of their data. The Open Beta 3 users on OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro should never make this update, and those unlucky who have already upgraded have seen all their files disappear.

Other than that, some users report that their software now has the old security update of August and not of October as they had before.

As in other companies, in order for a user to change from beta to stable, a system reset must first be performed and this also applies to OnePlus 8 series smartphones. Any change between beta and stable has the same effect. The company asks users to check for updates that come to them to be sure that these are the corresponding builds they already have.
