Ο Xiaomi's new Mi Router 4A 1Gb / s aims to further improve some of the features of the previous version, but without changing the aesthetics of the series.
Many of you will think that there was already a 4A Mi Router, and in fact you are right!
A post made a few days ago on Weibo, on the Xiaomi page dedicated to home appliances, plays with words and asks users to "spread" and "share" the news, and indirectly in this way, the company states that the new 4A router sets the same goal: to spread around the world, and through it to easily share all your data.
The new device therefore has a new function that is compatible with networks up to 1 Gb / s, and is capable of sharing a dual-band Wi-Fi connection with up to 64 devices simultaneously (with 64 devices of the Xiaomi ecosystem).
It's certainly not a revolution in relation to the product we already knew, but this development was necessary, given the evolution that fiber optics bring to many home networks.
Not everything is ready, but…
As the same company admitted, the new Mi Router router does not yet have full support for version 6 of the Internet Protocol (IPv6), but, according to what was officially reported, we will have to wait until September 2019 for the activation of this support. , obviously through some software update that will be done via OTA.
The only - interesting and hidden - new feature applied to Xiaomi's new Mi Router 4A 1Gb / s is the algorithm, which automatically detects signal weakness in the 5 GHz band, and automatically corrects any interference. The goal of this new system is obviously to make data exchange more efficient and improve coverage.
In short, this new Xiaomi Mi Router 4A 1Gb / s is only a small innovation, but it will definitely be appreciated if we consider that the price difference from the standard version is only 7 euros (from 15 to 22 euros)!
