Xiaomi announced its first high-end electric shaver on its crowdfunding platform called Mijia Electric Shaver.
Η A razor costs just 429 yuan (€ 57) during the crowdfunding period and 499 yuan (€ 66) after it arrives at retail stores. The price is relatively affordable compared to the products of other international brands that sell their respective products between 1000 - 2000 yuan (130 - 265 euros).
MIJIA Electric Shaver comes with five cutting heads which are the absolute number of cutting heads in the global shaving industry. The five cutting heads are suitable for cutting all types of men's beards. The Mijia electric shaver uses an ultra-thin, small polygonal structure that adheres precisely to the contours of the face and collects beards with different directions and growth patterns. During the sliding process, the multi-directional diffusion rubs into the skin and relieves pressure.
In terms of performance, the Mijia electric shaver comes with an innovative linear magnetic motor that vibrates 15.000 times per minute. The engine adopts a highly elastic material that incorporates rigidity and durability. It is resistant to high temperatures, strong pressures and abrasions.
According to Mijia, the five-blade razor has a vibration self-cleaning function. It uses ultrasonic waves to remove sebum, dirt and fine debris that is not easy to remove from the inside of the razor manually.
In terms of battery life, it may take more than 90 minutes per charge. Thus, just 3 minutes of charging is enough for a complete shave. The device is equipped with a 2.000 mAh lithium ion battery, the charging and discharging time can be up to 20 years. It is charged via a USB Type-C port. It weighs about 235g.
There is also a "travel lock" option. When the shaver is off, press and hold the power button to lock it, and the lock indicator light on the bottom of the appliance lights up. In this mode, it will not be activated when you have it in a bag or by a child.
