The MIUI Xiaomi is known for the plethora of customizations it offers, and although it is user-friendly and customizable, there have been many complaints about the Notification Shade and MIUI Launcher.
Έso what, while Xiaomi has significantly improved it Notification Shade with the last two MIUI upgrades, MIUI Launcher has not received similar enhancements and new features.
Last year, Xiaomi introduced the hidden applications in MIUI Launcher and the App Drawer in the Chinese versions of MIUI (China ROM).
Xiaomi recently updated MIUI Launcher to Global ROMs, and has allowed the use of application shortcuts, which allow users to launch any specific part of the application to perform some basic tasks directly from the home screen. This is a feature that was originally introduced in Android Nougat.
So now, in addition to Application Shortcuts, MIUI Launcher will also have a new feature that will allow users to share applications with others, directly from the home screen.
So, in case you want to share an application with someone, you can right-click directly on the application icon and select Common use. The new update to MIUI also brought a new fingerprint animation.
All these changes are only available on devices running MIUI natively, excluding POCO and Redmi K20 series, since these devices feature the POCO Launcher as default. Also, these new features may not be available on devices running MIUI based on Android Nougat.
