Τseveral new features have been added to MIUI 12.5 with beta Chinese weekly edition 21.12.4, and below is the list of these features that we will see in the upcoming MIUI 13.
As you all know, MIUI continues to evolve day by day, and the MIUI 13 features tested in the improved version of MIUI 12.5 offer several major or minor changes. Version MIUI 21.12.4 which was released a few days ago, has added 5 new features, which suggests that we still have a few days until MIUI 13 is officially unveiled.
MIUI 13: The information about the time the screen is active is removed
On Google Pixel phones, information about how long the screen is active has been removed with Android 12. Xiaomi is adhering to these changes made by Google, and will remove this feature in the battery information, which shows us when the screen was active.
This change applies directly to versions of MIUI 12.5 based on Android 12 and MIUI 13 with Android 12. We will need to use a third-party Developer application to be able to see this information.
MIUI 13: The weather-themed Super Wallpaper is removed
The Super Wallpaper weather related was added to MIUI 12.5, but was removed in MIUI 12.5 Enhanced / and MIUI 13 V21.12.4, and there is no information as to why it was removed.
MIUI 13: The Mi Drive shortcut in File Manager has been added
Like in Google Drive, you will now be able to see your files in Xiaomi Cloud and Mi Drive through the file management application. When you click on the file application icon, you will be able to browse from now on the files you have saved in Drive me.
