Πwe recently reported that Xiaomi released a new version of the camera application for its top models like the Mi 10, Mi 10 Pro and Redmi K30 Pro, as part of the upgrade to its latest fixed version MIUI 12.2.1.0 based on Android 11.
In this Xiaomi operating system upgrade, the Mi Camera app received many new features and capabilities such as Long Exposure, but unfortunately at the same time there were many problems in the stable operation of smartphones.
Both on Xiaomi's official website in China and on Global forum Xiaomi community, many problems have been reported by users, and it is no longer advisable for anyone with the devices mentioned at the beginning of this article to install the update MIUI V12.2.1.0.
Some of the problems that have been reported are the following:
- Unable to connect to the Internet from the second SIM card
- There is a problem with the touch screen during charging
- Lower frames in games
- High energy consumption
- Delays in taking screenshots
- Overheating of the device
And this is not a complete list of problems that have arisen.
Usually, in such cases, Xiaomi suspends the distribution of the update and deletes the upgrade files from its Servers, until all issues are resolved before proceeding with a new distribution. So far, however, there is no official update from Xiaomi, and we look forward to it.
Those of you who own one of them Mi 10, Mi 10 Pro and Redmi K30 Pro, but also the Poco F2 Pro which is essentially a clone of it Redmi K30 Pro, if you receive an upgrade notification on your device MIUI V12.2.1.0, it's a good idea to ignore the notification and avoid upgrading to this version to avoid such problems.
