MIUI 12.1: New features and capabilities are coming in the next Stable versions

Η latest version of MIUI, the most popular custom interface in the Android world, was released on April 27th. Xiaomi continues to make improvements to MIUI to maintain its popularity and satisfy its fans.

Many of the innovations that will come at MIUI 12.1 (Stable), are currently being tested on a weekly basis Beta Developer ROM. Some of the new features and capabilities that have not yet been adapted to the stable versions of MIUI 12 will be integrated into the new version MIUI 12.1.

But let's see below some of the new features that we will see appear soon in the stable versions of MIUI 12.1

New Animations on the fingerprint

Most new smartphones now have a fingerprint scanner below the screen. Xiaomi has added new Fingerprint Animations to make MIUI 12 more user-friendly. You will also find more fingerprint animations from MIUI Themes.

New Animations:

Secure keyboard

When you enter your password, some "weirdos" near you can see the combination sequence even if they do not see the numbers. Xiaomi eliminates this problem by adding a very effective feature. The order of the numbers will change each time you open and close the lock screen. This makes it impossible for others to see your combination.

App Vault

The design of the Vault app has been updated a lot, but not all users like it. Xiaomi has renewed the design of the application, taking into account the suggestions of users. The white backgrounds have now been updated to iOS style. At the top are now the non-removable application shortcuts, and below are small widgets such as the step counter, and you will be able to customize them more easily.

Weather application

It will now be much easier to check the weather in many other cities in the new weather app, and it will be supported by a new animation.

Always On Display (AOD)

MIUI 12 adds another revolutionary innovation to AOD capability. You will have the option to hide certain items, such as battery status, alerts, step counts.

Accessibility settings

The accessibility menu had many settings and it was quite difficult to find all the options. Xiaomi has now added new sections to this menu, making it easier to find the setting you want.

7. Improved Super Wallpaper feature (Two new Mars location and improved lock screen time design)
8. Delete picture option after sharing via screenshot.
9. New lock screen charging animation styles (Mi 10 & Mi Mix Alpha charging style)
10. Improved screen rotation animations (Seamless rotation from landscape to portrait)
11. Added option to change Quick Ball wake-up areas.
12. Redesigned home screen style selection menu.
13. New camera & gallery filters
14. Added option to switch Gallery's album layout to list view.
15. 3D animations on four of Control Center primary shortcuts
16. Updated device security patch to June 2020.
17. Improved behavior of expanding notifications (Swipe down using one finger)
18. New video playing quick options (Added mute and playback speed)
19. Added option to store all game icons inside GAME TURBO's Space.
