MIUI 11: The first distribution of BETA ROM in China by Xiaomi has started, for 38 devices!

According to the official MIUI Forum, users in the latest Beta version of MIUI 10 can upgrade their device smoothly to MIUI11 via OTA, and if you have a previous firmware version of MIUI installed on your device, you should clear all data first (Back up your cloud service or local storage before upgrading).

This time, the Beta version of MIUI 11 is released simultaneously for all models that support upgrades, and may be the fastest upgrade ever made in Xiaomi history.

Τthe new firmware is based on Android 10 and brings a renewed visual design along with several extensions of the basic functions.

Starting with visual changes, it comes with slightly smoother icons, Dark Mode across the system, the new Mi Lan Pro system font and enhanced Always-On Display function.

There are also many new animations, themes, wallpapers and an improved alert system.

Another great addition to MIUI 11 is the enhanced audio experience with brand new dynamic natural sound effects and sounds. Xiaomi has also announced the new Mi Go Travel Suite, which will help you book tickets for a wide range of transportation, from airplane to train and bus, along with currency conversion and an extreme way to save battery power.

Xiaomi Mi Go and Mi Work

Mi Work Suite features pre-installed WPS office applications and enhanced document file management as well as screencasting and support for more printers.

Another new addition is Family Guard, which lets you keep track of where your family members live as well as adjust the time constraints on using your kids' apps.
