The biggest asset of this new version of MIUI will be the better power management it will offer to all devices, with new functions that will ensure greater autonomy.
So in addition to the changes to the icons and some other design changes to address the "visual fatigue", we will have the automatic deletion of screenshots after sharing, status bar optimizations and support for running applications in one small window.
The new power saving feature will help extend battery life when it reaches low levels. Once activated, only the most basic functions will remain accessible, and the screen will change to black and white. MIUI 11 will also have an enhanced Dark Mode, which will be extended to third-party applications, including browsers.
However, Xiaomi fans will have to wait a few months to be able to try out all these new features, as the company plans to launch MIUI 11 in the first batch of devices sometime in June this year.
Of course, as always, we will give you the first Beta versions much earlier than the official release.
