MIUI 10: End of the weekly upgrades for old devices (one year) from October 5th.

Based on the new information that leaked today, from October 5 and then Xiaomi will stop distributing them BETA Developer ROM (and Chinese versions), for all devices over one year old.

Όas we already know, from July 1th Global Beta Developer ROMs have already been suspended for all Xiaomi devices, but Chinese Source ROM distributions continue. (We will have Greek XTRV and ROM from Xiaomi.eu, except Poco F1 and RedMi Note 6 PRO).

Of course, these decisions do not affect the distributions of Fixed ROMs (Global and China) that will continue their upgrade program normally.

So based on the new data, from October 5 they will not have at all Developer ROM the following devices.

• Redmi Note 4X (Mido)
• Mi Pad 3
• Redmi 4X (Santoni)
• Redmi Note 5A (Ugg)
• Redmi Note 5A Lite (Ugglite)
• Mi 5C (Song)
• My Max 2 (Oxygen)
• Mi Note 2 (Scorpio)
• Mi MIX (Lithium)
• Mi 5s (Capricorn)
• Mi 5s Plus (Sodium)
• Redmi 5 Plus
• Mi 5X (Tiffany)
• Redmi 5A
• redmi 5

In case of course there is no Source for the above devices, as it is logical, the weekly distributions of BETA Developer ROMs from xiaomi.eu and from us will stop, but the distributions of the Stable ROMs will continue normally.

Of course, the information so far is a bit confusing, as there is a case to exclude some devices from the suspension lists.

The first BETAs with the new MIUI 11 will appear soon, so maybe the indirect suspension of Developer ROMs for China will be temporary and will concern MIUI 10.

Of course, all this is not so good news for those who want to upgrade their device every week. We will wait a while for the landscape to clear up, and will come back if needed with a new article.
