Η Xiaomi the new clothes dryer was launched today in China MIJIA Smart Clothes Dryer 1S, priced at €119
This “smart” device features an ultra-slim body design that allows for built-in and hidden installation, and comes with a telescopic drying rod that can be completely hidden inside the ceiling.
The drying rod is only thick 9,9 cm when it closes, and it's almost 30% thinner from the previous generation.
The dryer has a built-in design with bars of six rows from aluminum alloy and 49 steel strands and wire ropes SUS304 that they can bear load up to 35 kg. It is equipped with 32 clips for adult and baby clothes, has 4 drying rods, 4 horizontal wire ropes, and 38 windproof hanging holes, while the length of the drying rod can be adjusted telescopically.
The new Xiaomi – Mijia dryer also supports the customized lifting height and memory function, making it more convenient for drying clothes.
The Mijia Smart Clothes Dryer 1S has LED lighting at 20W which supports gradual dimming, and can easily replace the lighting in the space where you will place it. It can also be connected to many other products of Xiaomi's smart ecological chain, such as the washing machine and the human body recognition switch. It supports control via Xiaoai speakers, Mijia app, Xiaomi smart home screen, and remote control.
The dryer is equipped with silent DC motor, who saves 50% of electricity compared to the previous generation AC motor. It also has built-in multiple protection mechanisms like protection against short circuit, overweight, motor damage and overvoltage.
The new Mijia Smart Clothes Dryer 1S is currently available at Xiaomi Mall for crowdfunding, at the price of 899 yuan (~ $ 130 / € 119).
