Microsoft: Turns against Apple for what is happening in the App Store

Η Microsoft believes more or less that the control mechanisms should intensify the controls in what is done in App Store.

ΜSpeaking to Politico recently, Microsoft Legal Director Brad Smith emphasized its opaque policy. Apple, in its online store and how it affects the competition.

«If you look at the industry today, what I think you will find is that more and more app stores have created taller walls and much better doors to access other applications.».

And it continues: "They impose restrictions that say more and more that there is only one way to get to our platform, through the door we created. And in some cases they have created a very high price as tolls, in some cases even 30% of all your revenue should go to these tolls».

And it is sure to win even more than a more open App Store, both in terms of real profit and ease of playing its applications in iOS environment.

For now, her research European Commission is in its early stages and we do not yet have anything in our hands about the kind of measures it intends to take. However, others have succeeded against Apple's monopoly strategies, with Spotify dragging its feet and followed by Epic Games, Rakuten, Match Group and others.

However, if we know one thing about Apple in its battles with European lawmakers, it is that it is not afraid to confront…
