Mi Watch: See it in Live Photo - Will the Global Edition Wear Google's WearOS?

The We Watch will be released tomorrow along with  Mi CC9 Pro and Mi TV 5 - will be the first smartwatch from Xiaomi and will use the platform Snapdragon Wear 3100.

Το We Watch is the first smartwatch from Xiaomi to be released tomorrow in China. In the last few days we have witnessed a lot of information in the form of leaks but also from a teaser released by Xiaomi itself, and we have gather all this information in one article HERE for anyone interested.

In a new leak today, the Mi Watch appeared in a live photo, which shows what the watch will look like when a user wears it on their wrist.

From what we see from the photo above, it would be fair to say that it looks like the Apple Watch but does not look like an exact copy.

The Mi Watch was found earlier today on its wrist Li Xiaoshuang, the general manager of its department Xiaomi TV, and this photo clearly shows us that the Mi Watch will have a rounded - square design, with all four sides curved. It seems to be inspired by Amazfit GTS more than the Apple Watch.

The watch is paired with a black strap, but previous leaks have shown us that there will be a total of four different color options for the straps. The screen is displayed with a black background which could be due to Dark Mode supported by MIUI Watch.

The Mi Watch, according to newer information, will be run by a special edition MIUI for watches, based on the Wear OS from Google. Xiaomi has modified the Wear OS to customize its usability, and it will be exclusively for its Chinese customers.

Globally, the Mi Watch may be running a more traditional version of Wear OS from Google. Google's efforts so far in the field of Wearables and Smaetwatch have not really worked in its favor, as almost all major smartphone and Smartwatch manufacturers have developed their own platforms, and now everything depends on Fossil to promote its own portable platform ( WearOS).

With Xiaomi's involvement in WearOS, Google may finally get the support it needs to succeed.

Tomorrow, of course, which is the official presentation of the Mi Watch, we will find out everything about the first Xiaomi Smartwatch, and of course the price at which it will be released in China.
