Mi Mix Alpha: New internal leak sets our imagination on fire!

We have almost 2 days left for the presentation of the new Smartphone of the series Mi Mix from Xiaomi, and the internet is on fire with new information - leaks - Renders - Teasers Mi Mix Alpha.

Σleaked a photo showing the body of the Mi Mix Alpha in an internal presentation made at Xiaomi in the form of a Power Point image, and reveal part of the revolutionary design that will have the new device from Xiaomi, but also some of the new features device.

Xiaomi reports that the Mi Mix Alpha will exceed 100% of the screen-to-body ratio, and to make this technically possible, the only way is to extend the screen to the sides of the device and also to the back. This of course refers to a Waterfall type screen like the ones we saw in ViVo Nex 3 and on the Huawei Mate 30 Pro.

But Xiaomi apparently does not just stick to this approach but takes it at least a few technological steps further and may eventually have a screen that embraces almost the largest surface back and forth on the back of the device, leaving room only for the vertical arrangement of the cameras. .

So instead of Xiaomi risking bringing a Folding technology to market as we have seen in the Samsung Galaxy Fold and the Huawei Mate X, it chooses to introduce us to a device with an extended curved screen that no matter how we do it will not have the problems we saw in Galaxy Fold.

All this, of course, triggered a sequence of Renders from various designers, who try to predict the final form of the innovation that Xiaomi will bring us with the new Mi Mix Alpha.

Things get quite complicated though as so far we are essentially talking about two devices in the Mi Mix series. There is also the Mi Mix 4 which may eventually be the device that will be immediately available on the market, and the Mi Mix Aplha which will be with a concept - a tech showcase device that may be released in a limited number of pieces and not in mass production.

Do not forget that XDA Developers in a research that had done in the code of the application Mi Gallery, had found that Xiaomi is preparing 4 new Smartphones that will have a camera sensor at 108MP with the code names Xiaomi "Tucana", "Draco", "Umi" and “Cmi”. So maybe Xiaomi is preparing 4 variants of Mi Mix - maybe Mi Mix 4 - Mi Mix 4 Pro 5G - Mi Mix Alpha - Mi Mix Alpha Pro.

Of course, all this is speculation at the moment and all that remains is to wait for Xiaomi itself to officially present us on the 24th of September, all the new devices that it has prepared for us.

It will be a very productive day for Xiaomi, because in addition to the new Mi Mix, it will also present the new Mi 9 PRO 5G - the Mi TV PRO 8K and of course the long-awaited MIUI 11.
