At today's event Xiaomi held in China, except Mi CC9 and Mi CC9e, the special edition of the series was presented, with a name Mi CC9 Meitu Edition.
Tο Xiaomi CC9 Meitu Edition is identical to normal CC9 but has some improvements from the Meitu team, which Xiaomi acquired at the end of 2018.
The device is aimed at vloggers with AI low light, portrait, movie portrait and full body beauty filters. There is also a special vlog function with video stabilization. The rest of the specs are the same as the regular CC9, with the Snapdragon 710 SoC paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
The Xiaomi Mi CC9 Meitu Edition will be available at a price of 2.599 yuan (~ 334 €) and will come in a special white pearl color.
This device seems to be especially dedicated to the entire female population, and from what can be seen in the photos below, Meitu filters greatly improve the visual effect on the skin tone.
It is essentially the first device that is the result of Xiaomi's collaboration with Meitu, and we expect to have new interesting devices from the same team soon.
What we have not seen yet, is that device that was presented in some posters, and had a camera layout on a special Slide-Up mechanism. But it may be the next device we will see from Xiaomi-Meitu.
