Earlier this week, Xiaomi released the Mi 9 at an event in China. Along with the Mi 9, Xiaomi also introduced the Mi 9 Transparent Edition smartphones and the Mi 9 SE.
ΕWhile the Mi 9 Transparent Edition and Mi 9 SE are unlikely to hit markets outside of China, the Mi 9 will soon be available in Europe and will be officially unveiled at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona on February 24. Thanks to a new leak we have found, we can now reveal the starting price of the smartphone in Europe.
Xiaomi Mi 9 will start at 469 euros in Europe
Xiaomi's latest will be available in Europe at 469 euros (approximately 37.800 INR) for the base version with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Needless to say, the version with 8GB of RAM + 128GB of internal storage will probably be closer to the price of 600 euros.
For more details on the pricing and availability of the smartphone in Europe, we will have to wait until Xiaomi's press conference at MWC2019 in Barcelona on Sunday.
The Xiaomi Mi 9 features a 6,39-inch Super AMOLED screen with water notch, fifth-generation optical fingerprint scanner, Full HD + resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection.
Thanks to the water notch and the 3,6mm chin, the smartphone has an impressive screen ratio of 90,7%. As you would expect from the Mi 9, it runs Qualcomm's octa-core 7nm Snapdragon 855 processor with an Adreno 640 GPU.
