Recently, Xiaomi introduced a new software update for My 11 Ultra in China. The update is accompanied by the issue number V12.5.10.0.RKACNXM and adds a new feature called function Super Power Saver.
As the name implies, this option helps users to use the phone battery efficiently when they can not charge their device.
According to the official description, the function “Super Power Saver”Turns off the main screen of the mobile! Allows users to access only the tiny screen on the back.
Even on this screen, users will only be able to control the time, receive calls and make emergency contacts. Xiaomi claims that this feature can offer up to 14 days of autonomy. The company states that battery performance may vary due to various factors.
The operation can become really useful in the event of a power outage after a natural disaster as we see it and of course we will not say no to having this feature.
Unfortunately, it is not known when this feature will be available on Global enviroment variants of My 11 Ultra.
Hopefully Xiaomi will not limit this feature to the Chinese version of the smartphone. We are curious to see how the small second screen will be used otherwise.
