Mi 11 Lite 5G: The world's thinnest 5G Smartphone and the first with the Snapdragon 780G became official in China

Xiaomi today officially unveiled the slimmest and lightest Smartphone in Xiaomi history, the new Mi 11 Lite.

Όas stressed in today's presentation by the CEO and one of the founders of the company, o Lei Jun, this is the slimmest and lightest Smartphone in the history of Xiaomi, and the Mi 11 Lite is specially redesigned, targeting mainly young people.

Some of the main features offered by the device are:

• Its thickness is just 6,81 mm, that is, it is against 15,5% thinner than My 11
• The weight is just at 159g, and is against 37g lighter than My 11
• Available at 6 different youthful colors
• It has a large built-in battery at 4250mAh, which is thin and light.

The screen of the device

The Mi 11 Lite is equipped with Amoled screen 6,55 inches with a hole in the upper left corner for the Selfie camera, and its specifications are:

• AMOLED 6,55 ″ screen which is extremely thin and flexible
• It has minimal crowns on 1,88 mm and extremely extremely small chin on 2,75 mm
• It can depict over 1 billion colors, with wide color gamut P3And Dolby Vision

The cameras of the Mi 11 Lite

The Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite supports a special algorithm on selfies to improve natural beauty. These are special processing filters that can be activated at any time.

In terms of cameras, the device has a front Selfie camera at 20MP, while on the back it has a Module with triple cameras consisting of one main sensor at 64MP, one  wide-angle lens at 8 MP and one Macro camera at 5 MP.

The other specifications of the device

The Mi 11 Lite is the first Smartphone in the world to be powered by the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 780G SoC, has fast charging at 56W and is equipped with a special liquid cooling system (floating heat pipe liquid cooling system) which ensures low temperatures even after long hours of use:

• The new Snapdragon 780G SoC is built with the same 5nm process as the SD888.
• It has the same architecture in the A78 CPUs as the SD888
• It has the same three image processors (ISPs) that are available in the SD888
• It also has the same Qualcomm 6th Generation Ai Engine found on the SD888, with computing power up to 12 TOPS
• Supports dual core band in the new generation 5G networks
• The device also has dual speakers (Stereo)

Price and availability

The Mi 11 Lite Available in 2 basic storage versions and in colors Black, Pink, Blue, Green, Yellow and White.

• The version with 8 / 128 GB available at 2.299 yuan (~ 349 $ / 297 €)
• while the version with 8 / 256 GB available at 2.599 yuan (~ $ 395 / € 335).

Pre-orders of devices at China will start today and will be available on the market from 16 April.
