ΔDo you have camera sensors? Three of us. Three of you? The four of us (see Samsung). Four of you? Five of us (coming soon from Nokia). This is how things have been in recent years. THE LG, however, takes care of the future and patents a smartphone with 16 camera sensors on the back which will all be pulled at different angles at the same time (reminiscent of Light L16).
The patent was granted in the US on November 20, 2018 and as you can see from the blueprints, the sensors will be placed in a square frame in the upper left corner. The user will be able to use them all at the same time, but also individually.
From these shots you will be able to choose the best from a certain angle, to create animations, and even to see the face e.g. of a friend from any angle you want with a single photo. There is also talk of placing one mirror under the sensor to take selfies with the main camera of the device.
All this remains at the level of the patent, therefore, it is possible that it will remain in the drawer forever, rather than seeing it implemented soon.
