Almost 3,5 years after the release of the iPad mini 4, Apple is preparing to release its new model.
Σthe new iPad mini 5 does not seem to have made major changes to its design with its release date expected in March or April.
According to information coming from accessory manufacturers for the new iPad mini 5, it will have a Touch ID fingerprint sensor, Lightning port, 3,5 mm headphone jack and most likely will have the same design and dimensions as the current iPad mini.
The A8 processor of the iPad mini 4 is likely to be replaced with an Apple A10 or A10X in the new iPad mini 5. However, its battery and cameras seem to remain the same as the iPad mini 4.
It may acquire FaceID technology and USB TYPE-C connectivity, like the iPad Pro series, although this will significantly increase production costs.
